What a great day we counted nearly 200 friends, neighbors, babies, kids, dogs - all Marching on a grey Saturday Morning.

We loved all the honking cars & thumbs up from all of the drivers.

Everyone wants this crime dealt with properly. The City needs to start listening to us.

Help us Sam we voted for you!!!

Thank you what a great event, however I wish the march was not needed though. I wish I could wait at the bus stop I used to wait at to be "green" and go to work using public transportation, but now I drive to avoid being harrased & aggressively verbally attacked by johns now - this never happened before & I have lived in the are 5 years. I wish I didn't see these young women stand on the street corners and stare into all of the cars looking for work, I wish the City would address the crime first & foremost. I wish the City would truly punish the johns.

I can't believe the PFZ was lifted with NO replacement, NO services or outreacg for the women, NO tools for the police, NO consideration of how it would affect the neighborhoods and more importantly the residents.

Wake Up Sam Adams - please keep the Police Bureau under you and make our streets safe again.

Thank you.

This evening four teenagers were shot right near my home in the 3300 block of NE 71st just south of Sandy.

Pulling back police presence leaves a vacuum that is not only filled by prostitutes and johns but also by gangs involved in the business in one way or another. This is on the heels of another shooting on NE Sacremento on this last Monday.

THIS IS POSITIVELY INSANE. We CLEARLY need the PFZ and police presence back in this area.

Thank you neighborhood members for your much needed work on this issue! I look forward to joining you at future events.
